The Northern Musical Theatre Company was
formed in 2005 by Bev Jones and his wife, Lesley. After
40 years experience throughout Europe, and no fewer than
465 musical shows, as a Director, Performer, Arranger,
and Musician, Bev can claim to be the most successful
person in the North of England musical theatre world.
After 30 years at the helm of York Light Opera Company,
this new company can offer both amateur and professional
productions allowing Bev the option to provide the very
best entertainment of the highest standard, with the cast
of his choice. Every show plays host to OPEN AUDITIONS
allowing the general public every opportunity to take
part without the need to " join".
And all at no cost with no fees or payment required.
His recent youth production of Les Miserables at The Grand
Opera House was a sell out and a testament of his ability
to obtain the very best from performers. This was followed
by sell-out productions of Fame: The Musical and the Pirates
of Penzance Broadway Version in 2008 at York Theatre Royal.
